Not at all! We welcome all abilities from complete beginner to more advanced. 

No, we have some fabulous Toyota Oekaki sewing machines for you to use, as well as an overlocker. If you do wish to bring your own to gain more experience with it, then that’s no problem!

We are located in the lovely village of Portskewett, in Monmouthshire. We are four miles south west of Chepstow.

We tailor each course to your individual needs. For example, if you have very little experience on the sewing machine we start you off by showing you how to make “quick wins”. These are small projects that will allow you to cover a wide range of methods and techniques. Once your confidence has grown, you can then go on to tackle something a bit more adventurous. Don’t worry though, we will be there every step of the way! 

If you are a more experienced sewer, we can help you advance your techniques further, all in a lovely, calm environment. 

We can accommodate up to 6 machine sewers at classes,  and up to 10 hand sewers for parties and events. 

Of course! We can host crafty birthday parties, (children and adults), hen parties, baby showers, team meetings and seasonal events for up to 10 guests. Please email for package details.

No, you don't. Lucy is a qualified teacher and holds a valid DBS certificate. It is not necessary to stay with your child during the sessions.
