Threads of Creativity is a relaxed and inspiring course designed to explore mixed media, free‑motion embroidery, and raw‑edged appliqué techniques. Over  guided sessions, you’ll learn how to layer fabrics, add detail with thread, and build rich texture into your work.

This course is ideal for those with some basic sewing experience, or for anyone ready to build confidence using their sewing machine in a more creative and expressive way. Each session is taken step by step, with plenty of support and encouragement as your ideas develop and your artwork comes to life.

Perfect for anyone looking to experiment, explore, and stitch beyond the basics.

  • Each person will be allocated their own sewing and cutting space
  • Due to our small class sizes (maximum 6) all sessions are non-refundable
  • You do not need to bring a machine
  • Thread and all equipment (such as scissors, pins etc.) are provided for use if required.
  • You may wish to bring a sketchbook and resource imagery. Details will be given during the first session.
